We’ve lived on this farm for almost 30 years and we love it.  We love the land and we love horses and animals.  We’ve got Merle, the Potbelly Pig.  Piccadilly is the Nigerian Pygmy goat.  We’ve got lots of dogs, even one that is hairless ~ and it is suppose to be hairless!  And we have some good horses.  Music N Small Talk is Battlefield Horse Show Association Low Jumper Champion for 2011, and the Champion of the Blue Ridge Jumper Series.  We have Cinnamon, whose novice rider was Res. Champion at Magnolia Equestrian Center show.  We’ve had winners in the Hunter ring and years and years of experience.

For over a decade, we sold good horses.  Now we’ve gotten out of the sale horse business, but we have great hand picked lesson horses, some of the best we’ve come across in the past years.  The problem with being a sale barn is that it is very difficult to show and to take your students to shows.  The bigger we got as a well established sale barn, the harder it got to get away and go to shows.  Now we have some wonderful and talented students that want to go to shows, and we want to take them.  So we are concentrating on lessons, and on students as we shift the focus of our business from people who BUY horses to people who want to RIDE horses better.

And it gives us a chance to share the land we love.  We have Birthday Parties, both with horses and without.  Lessons from 3 and up.  We have camps for everyone and we are constantly trying to help out the community and improve our services for what you want to be learning around horses.  Make sure you keep coming back to our site for all our exciting changes!

Hey! So I found this website from Young Rider, and me and my mom are discussing for me to go to the over night Residential camp this summer. I was just wondering if at the end of the week, we will have a Horse Show with everybody there? I’m Just wondering. One more thing, I do not know how to jump. So would this camp teach me how to? I’m A Dressage person but I wanna Try Something new! Thanks so much!
    Abbey

    • Hidden Creek says:

Abbey, Our camp is designed for everyone to try something new! And we encourage students to work on things they might not get a chance to work on in their normal lessons. At the end of the week we will sometimes do a fun show if everyone wants to but generally students want to ride more instead of put on a show. We do allow all students to pick their favorite horse from the week and allow them to show off to parents when they go to leave if that’s what you meant! let me know if you have any other questions and make sure to friend request us at http://www.facebook.com/hiddencreekva to see past camp pictures!
